New Skiers
What should I bring?
You should always dress in layers and bring a light jacket, hat, gloves, sunscreen, sunglasses and a full waterbottle. Bring a trail map and a watch with you, and remember that the trails close at 5 p.m.
Remember the following rules and trail etiquette:
The trails close at 5 p.m.
Observe posted hours and signs for the night skiing trail.
Wear your season pass or trail pass so it is visible.
Always ski in control, and yeild to downhill skiers.
When passing, always pass on the left.
When stopping, do not block the trail for other skiers.
Keep off closed trails and obey all trail signs and warnings.
Step aside to allow snowmobiles and grooming machines to pass.
When snowshoeing on shared trails, stay to the side and avoid the classic tracks.
